Huertas De La Magdalena: circular local hike to this rustic hamlet for best panoramic views of old Trujillo and ascent to the castle through olive and holm-oak forest, natural rock formations, horses, bulls, pigs and . . . goats?

Monfragüe Biosphere Reserve: Extremadura at its wildest and most pristine: straddling the river Tagus the park houses up to 340 bird species including permanent colonies of Egyptioan Vultures and Imperial Eagles. Hill walk with climb to Monfragüe Castle. Bring you binoculars and camera

Santa Cruz De La Sierra: country walk with optional final ascent to the 1200ft San Gregorio peak with its Moorish citadel and spectacular panoramic views of Trujillo and surrounding sierras

The walks are easy to moderate with some hill walking and require just a basic level of fitness in walking

We walk at a gentle to moderate pace so you can enjoy being mindful - and take all the photos you want

Local walks last 60 to 90 mins. Other walks are 2-3 hours with refreshment breaks, followed by a pack lunch

You'll get one afternoon off to do your own thing. The afternoon class and supper are not provided on this day

The order of the activities may be modified to suit the weather and season

Yoga Classes are adapted to suit your needs and abilities at any level whether you're an absolute beginner or a seasoned yogi
